We have James Mail server and Domino running on the sames System. James SMTP server is running on Port 8225. I wish to route the calls from Domino to James SMTP server.
I did a lot of research. Firstly I tried to route the mails by using a Foreign SMTP domain. I looked everywhere and could not find how to specify a non-standard port for a foreign SMTP domain.
Then I did the following in Domino Server document → ports → Internet ports → mail → SMTP port (outbound) and set the outbound smtp port to 8225, and then it worked. But this I guess is not an elegant solution.
Can you please let me know any alternate approach to these settings…
