Rooms and Resources are deleted from the public adressbook

I have the following situation.

I have a Resource Reservations database that has the sites and resource documents.

During time there were tasks pending in the adminprocess database to delete some resources.

Those were ( by accident) approved, and a few resources and rooms are deleted from the public adressbook.

There are no problem with the resource reservations database ( everything is still in the database).

But when someone wants to make a reservations for a room or resource from their calendar, they

don’t see the resource and rooms that were deleted from the adressbook. How can I safely place the

deleted resource and rooms back into the public adressbook?

Dear Patrick

In order for users to see the Rooms/resources, they must be in your Domino Directroy. You can manually recreate the room/resource documents in your Domino Directory. When you add a new room/resource the Administration Process creates these documents for you automatically.

You should find the Rooms/resources under the ‘Mail-in databases’ section ; there should be 3 sub twisties: Databases, rooms and resources. There is an ‘Add’ button that will allow you to add a new room or resource. Look at the exisiting rooms and resources and you should be able to work out how to set up the information correctly. You will need to know:

the name of the rooms and resources DB and the name of the server on which it resides

the full name of room or resource expressed hierarchically e.g. Room1/Category1/MySite

save and close, wait for the index to rebuild (or CTRL+SHIFT+F9 if you can’t wait) and then test a booking to make sure it works.
