Does anyone know if it is possible to give two receptionists rights to modify and delete each other’s entries in the Room Reservations database?
They both cover reception duties and need to be able edit/delete entries made by the other.
How is the best way to set it up to allow them to do this?

You would have to create the rooms with one of the Owner Restriction options that allows you to pick an resource owner and then list both of them. You won’t be able to do it very easily if the rooms aren’t managed by the two receptionists. Sharing IDs or HTTP passwords (both bad), or customization I think are you only other options.
If you did the reservations from the Notes Calendar, delegation might do the trick since the CHAIR is used by RnR for approvals and denials. Or create a mail-in DB and both people could do the invites and room reservations from there and again the CHAIR not the sent by would be used for getting the room.
