I would like to make room reservations from an application that I am currently programming. I have tried to follow the code in the mail database but, to be honest, there is just so much of it ;o)
I created a form that contains the date, time and room for the reservation. I would now like to see if the room is free and if so reserve it. If it is busy I will inform my user. What I would like is something alone the lines of:
This is tricky as there is a hell of a lot of coding (much of it hidden) which books the room. Even trying to get an additional field to go from the calendar to the RR database is very difficult.
Could you not simlply pull up the resource booking form from the RR database and allow them to do that?
I am already doing that when the users only have 1 appointment to add. What they now want is to enter a date range i.e. 12.1.2007 - 27.1.2007 (I automatically exclude holidays etc) and then they want me to create all the reservations in the RR DB.
