Roaming user using client 6.5.1 and 7.0.2

Hello all!

Is this a problem if a roaming user is working on two different version of the Notes Client, 6.5.1 and 7.0.2. I’m in the process of installation new machine, and I would like to start installing 7.0.2 version of the Notes Client instead of the 6.5.1.

You can use the clients but you can’t upgrade your databases. Some will work some will not. When I upgrade to 7 our blackberry clients that were using the roaming features couldn’t correctly look at their bookmark welcome page, 6.5.1 didn’t understand that database. If you make sure that you check on your property page that you don’t inherit from a template on the server then you should be okay. Otherwise if you compact or refresh the design the server will upgrade the database to whatever template the server contains automatically.
