Roaming User Setup/Troublehooting

I have a couple of users who’s notes roaming profiles are not syncing everything that they should.

I checked the replication tab for one of our users and she only had Feed Content, and Roaming user data listed under Roaming User Applications. She is missing Bookmarks.nsf, Journal.nsf and Names.nsf.

I have removed her roaming status and went through the process to make her roam again. When we logged on to notes on a new setup, it pulled the roamed data as it should have, but these 3 items are still missing from the roaming user application set - so new information is not roamed.

Is there a way I can add/force these items to the roaming user application list?

I too am having a similar issue, but my users cannot seem to roam their “names.nsf” file.

Is there a manual way to create the needed files from the client to the server? or to trigger the creation of the missing files on the server?

First check AdminP against the user name and see if all the processes completed correctly if not re-run them. If this fails again you will have to revert back to the old V6 way and enabiling it on the client to do this see below.

The status will be inprogress until the user clicks Yes on the roaming upgrade popup box. do the following and restart notes client.

Add or change the following lines to the client’s notes.ini

RoamedHere=0

RoamClientPrompts=0

RoamingUpgrade=1

RoamingUserUpdateFlag=“”

and restart the notes client.
