Roaming Profiles - File Server Roaming Options

I am setting up users for File Server Roaming.

Two questions:

  1. Who or what needs security access to the file server share to setup and maintain File server romaing for each user? Is it just the Windows account logon that each user uses?

  2. My file server share used for roaming is \server-name\FS$. If users are mapping to this shared folder, e.g. as L:\ drive, in the policy setting document for Server name can I just specify "L:"
