We recently migrated to an xSP environment and I’m finding limitations along the way. However, I don’t see that upgrading users to roaming is one of these limitations. Unfortunately, I also get a grayed out “roaming…” option in the Admin client. Has anyone run into this problem?
We’re running 7.0.2 in an xSP environment. I’d like to upgrade users to roaming but do not have the option in the Admin client (it’s grayed out). Have you run into something similar? I don’t see that it’s an xSP limitation (like lots of other features).
Make sure that you have the multi users client, if the single client was installed, you can still upgrade the notes client to a multi user desktop – if this is what you need–
If you are trying to set user to have Lotus Notes roaming profile within Domino, then this would not work. You need to enable roaming for the user first.
From the admin client, select a user, then roaming. You should be prompted if you want to enable roaming for the selected user.
Unlike a regular Domino environment, I am not seeing the “roaming…” option in the Admin client when on the People/Groups tab. It’s grayed out. I’ve upgraded users to roaming without a hitch in a non-xSP environment. So I’m wondering if it’s some sort of xSP limitation (although I can’t find that documented anywhere).
