Roaming on 8.5 Client/8.0.2 Server

Hi folks

Roaming user functionality is not supported in the 8.0.2 release and is being introduced in 8.5. What I need to know is this - is the blocker SOLELY client side? Is roaming supported with an 8.5 client, 8.0.2 server and 8.0.2 template?

Subject: Roaming with 8.0.2/8.5

We are looking at using this for our business shortly.

I have been told by an IBM Business partner that you require the 8.5 client and 8.5 server. Although they haven’t tested with an 8.5 client and 8.02 server.

They didn’t mention the template compatibility.

I meant 8.0.2 Standard. Roaming is supported in 8.0.2 basic which is what we’re currently using.
