Our Notes client configuration is Notes 6.5.2 client multi-user setup under Windows 2000. Roaming user support also enabled. Notes client is originally installed under “Admin” NT account name. Have multiple users who have signed on succesfully, and have roamed to their respective c:\documents and settings<>\local settings\lotus notes\data\ folder. However, for no apparent reason, every once in awhile a user will roam down on a machine they have never visited before, but the roaming user files will not setup in their documents and settings directory. Instead the roaming files will incorrectly setup under the “Admin” user account folder (i.e. c:\documents and settings\admin\local settings\lotus\notes\data). This behaviour is sporadic. Would like to know why a user’s files on first signon to a machine do not always go to the respective user’s “documents and settings” folder but rather get tucked under the first folder under “documents and settings” tree structure, which in our case is admin.
