After taking one cluster member down and deleting its clubusy.nsf, and loading Domino the following error appears in the log:
RnRMgr: Error getting or calculating the proper cluster replica ID: RnRMgr: Error switching cluster busy time database
Typing load rnrmgr results in rnrmgr starting correctly. Clubusy was already created by the time rrnmgr loaded. Anyone else encounter this error?
Perhpas we cannot stagger our maintenance routines on the clustered resource servers the same way we do with mail servers.

Hi
Is this the exact error message?

Yes, that was copied from my resource servers log.
We have 2 production resource servers that provide failover to each other. I am beginning to suspect that this model will not work well with the rnrmgr design.
Currently rnrmgr is running on both servers. I see requests being delivered by the router on both servers, but I only see outbound mail on one server, which suggests that meetings are being processed by that server.
