We just purchased RightFax Enterprise 9.0 and we are having some major issues.
One of those (and Captaris can’t seem to solve it) its something that makes me perplex…
When we send a fax trough the mail integrated template, if the user attachs a jpg image the quality is simply put horrible!
Instead of a doted grayscale image (typical of faxes), we get an horrible black and white pic, almost impossible to read. I’m pretty shure the problem is not the hardware, because if i send the same image in a .pdf attachment the image received by the recipent of the fax is a way lot better (greyscale pic).
Captaris is acting like they are looking at the problem for the 1st time (they managed to reproduce this in their labs), and they don’t give any solutions.
If i send the same image trough the rightfax util (client software) the quality is ok, its only bad when sending trough Lotus Notes.
Can i please have some suggestions/feedback on this?
