Hi, Has any one spent the time making the right fax 8.5 intergration work on the ND6 mail6 template yet? I am preping for my migration and am hunting for a working nd6 template. Other wise I can make it work it will just take time. thanks in advance.

We have rightfax here also with the same issue. I spoke with Rightfax support about 4 months ago and they had no plans “at that time” to develop a r6 version of the int module. I have not checked to see if that status has changed. I would recomend you call Captaris first to see if they do r6 yet, from the kb search at captaris I just did, I do not see r6 supported yet.

Are you staiting it would take you more time because you do not have the “minimal” installed?I have it installed at my employer as minimal and don’t use forms. I have not seen anything which would prohibit the use of ND 6. YES I realize it is not supported, but the tests so far were going well.

I attempted to use the r5 portion of it and like you basic functions did work, but since our r6 users liked the new look and feel and we had some special integration needs for our order entry, edi, etc it caused to many issues from a development and a support perspective so we ditched the integration with our domino servers until such time captaris comes around with a supported r6 platform. It’s not a lack of basic function, it is support and development that led us to that direction.
Like I said, I would call captaris. Maybe if enough users call they will continue development on that module. As it stands now they (captaris) have no plans to develop r6 according to support.

Hi, I have full mail intergration. What I am planing to do is to move the efm sync and all other related rightb fax DB’s to a server that will remain on R5. I am planning to putz with the code to make the mail intergration work with ND6. I was curous if any one else had. ND6 is now supported with rf8.5 with no mail intergration. Thats not an option here. Nor is waiting untill they get around to it. I need the spam features, so It’'s time to program. I had the same problem when we first deployed R5 with right fax. I’ll figure it out. Thanks Larua

Hi Laura,I was wondering if you were successful in implementing Rightfax in a dual environment. We have not gone to R6 simply due to the incompatibly with Rightfax. My director isn’t too happy with there being no workarounds so I would love to pick your brain if you were successful.

There is a switch for free from Rightfax special, provided by Extrafax - 2003 Lotus Advisor Excellence Award winner.Fully Domino 6.0.x and 6.5 integrated. Domino add-on, NOT fax gateway.
