A bunch of people here are using their local address book to store important address. Those addresses are use when they’re OOF with they’re mobile solution.
The pain is, some of those address are in our network, and since Notes thinks those are internet clients, it formats mail in the MIME format(and in plain text) instead of the Rich text. It distorts our signature and few other things.
Is there a way to add a local address book entry to force it using Rich Text format?
Thanks!!

You could try filling in the “Mail domain” field; that might work. But your users should not be using internet mail addresses to send mail to each other. If they’re in the same Notes domain (or connected domains) they should use the Notes version of the username. Teach your users how to find a name in the server directory and copy it to local.
You could also add intelligence to the local address book design to look for certain suffixes when users are saving internet mail addresses, advise them of the issue, and offer to search the server address book for the same username in Notes mail format and copy that information for them.
Probably should customize the “add to address book” function in the mail template, too.
