Hi there!I have a really weird problem. I have a form that has 4 rich text items that is used on the web.
I created documents with it and when I open these documents in read mode, everything is ok.
But when I put them in edit mode, the contents of the 3 rich text fields sometimes swap…
It happens randomly… sometimes it is the contents of field 1 that replace those of field 2, sometimes the contents of field 4 replace those of field 2 etc.
Sometimes it does not happen.
And if I open the same docs on notes everything is fine.
Does anybody have any idea about the cause(s) and possible solution(s) please?

Do you have different forms for reading/editing in Notes/Web?View Form fomulas??

In fact the documents are created only on the web. I only checked them in notes to see if the problem also occured there.
Only one form is used to create the documents but it can have different subforms… all 4 rich text items are on a subform.

Have you checked in the document properties to see if the field values are indeed swapped or if it is just the fields location on the form?

When I view the document properties on the notes client, the field values are in the correct fields… If I open the documents in the notes client and put it in edit mode, the values are still in the correct fields.
On the web, when I open the docs in read mode, they are still ok… it is only when I put them in edit mode that the field values get transferred.
I think I found a “solution”…
If I display the fields using “Best fit for OS”, I do not get the problems with Internet Explorer.
But the problem persists in Firefox… in fact on Firefox I get an error “ERROR READING FEILD VALUE FOR lnaRTField1”
So the problem occurs only with the RT editor applet…
According to other posts on this “ERROR READING FEILD VALUE” this is due to fields refreshing the document…
Thanks a lot for your help.
