Rich text field to MS Word

Hi

Please suggest that how can I export the rich text field text to MS Word in a formatted form.

Please help.

Hi ,

I not sure how much programming ability you have in Domino, but you could try adding some design components to your database, that allow you to view only the specified richtext field of the document via http. You can then open those document via word (open url ) and then save them as word documents.

I use this technique for data extraction of richtext when I migrate data to SQL. You can have a look at the lnk below for further info,

Thanks for replying.

I am opening the form in the word by using the code

wdApp = new ActiveXObject(“Word.Application”);

wdApp.visible=true;

wdApp.Documents.Open(“http://servername/database/Template?readform&empcode=”+ecode);

Template form has a Computed Value which has @dblookup formula which fetch that the richtext field text from other form.

Now when I am doing this then that rich text field text appear in non formatted form in the word. Cnn u suggest some way to appear the text in the formaated form in the MS Word
