Rich Text field text

Hi

I have a form A which have one richtext field. There is a save button which save document. Richtext field contains formatted text.

I have a form B which have a computed value which has formula which will fetch the richtext field text by using @dblookup(I have mentioned the column name of the richtext field in dblookup formula)…

On form B I have a export button which will open form B in the word. now the problem is Form A’s richtext field has formatted text but when it opens then that text is not in a proper format.

Please suggest that how can I convert the richtext field text into html format while saving so that that HTML text will come in computed value of Form B and hence it will show the formatted text.

Subject: Rich Text field text

Rich-Text dblookup is easy, been working since v3.0! Follow these steps:1. Create form with (at least) 2 fields, key-name, “key” and rich-text value, “RTval”.

  1. Design lookup view. 1st column must be key field and sorted. (ideally a text value)

  2. Do NOT add the name the rich-text field to the view. It will stop the lookup working.

  3. In the rich-text field to receive the data, (either a default value or a computed field), put your formula.

@dblookup(“”; “”; “vwName”; key; “RTval”)

Note the RT field is specified by name in quotes.

Thats it. You cannot do anything with the returned value, like add any error checking to the lookup, BUT it will work.
