Rich Text Editor to read/write Notes Rich Text

I write an extension for the Notes Client 8.5.Therefore I need a Rich Text editor which can read/write “Notes” Rich Text format.

So I’m searching for an editor which is as similar as the Notes Mail editor and is able to save the text as Rich Text.

I tested the expeditor RichTextEditor (com.ibm.rcp.rte) which works fine, but unfortunately I only get the text as HTML or plain text.

  • Is it possible to use the same Editor which is used for editing Notes mails, and what is its and the corresponding bundle name?

  • Or is there an easy way to convert the HTML text of the expeditor Rich Text editor to Notes Rich Text?
