Rich Text Computed Field Help

Hi,

I have a web form with a rich text field for a description, This form is then printed, but the computed for display text field for description does not format properly. I have tried having a computed Rich Text field, but nothing is displayed, as its on the web, I cant use LotusScript.

any suggestions as to how i could display a rich Text computed field on the web?

RTF is a pain.

Does the RT field contains only text?

If this is the case, I guess you use RTF to have a instead of a single line .

Here is a tip :

Add some HTML tag in the form :

The computed text get the data from a simple text field.

Add some javascript logic to feed the text field when submit event is fired. You will have to check ‘generate HTML for hidden field’ as well.

js logic is simple :

document.forms[0].mytexthiddenfield.value = document.forms[0].fakertf.value;
