I know I can find a pile of task tracking databases in the Sandbox (correction: I only found a handful, surprisingly), but I was wondering if anyone had personal reviews or reccommendations about some of them. I need a medium-weight task tracking database for my work within my team. My first thought is that a group To-Do list is not rich enough, and the some of the commercial SPR/bugtracker databases are too much to train my users on and probably too much administrative overhead.
Requirements:
Minimal administration overhead required
Runs on our Domino 6.5 server
Notes client access from 6.0.4 → 6.5 required; web access a nice bonus
Multiple team members making requests - bugs, feature requests, issues, etc.
Need to track a couple of categories, priority, a rough time required, plus a description
Most tasks will be processed by only a handful of people, so we don’t need a lot of transferring features
Minor workflow: basically just need emails sent when tasks done etc.
Most tasks/bugs/features will be requests to update one of the databases I’m a Designer on
Personal stories using someone else’s design appreciated most. I definitely don’t want to reinvent this wheel, but task tracking/reporting is a very different thing for different people/groups/types of tasks, so I want to find the one that fits my team closest.
