Should a $$ReturnGeneralError form catch a page not found? I have a $$ReturnGeneralError form in my DB, and when I try to access a document who’s form is hidden to the web I get a standard page not found error rather than my error form as I expected.

EDIT - now here’s something wierd - when I do a preview in the Notes browser, I get the message I expect. When I use IE I get a 404.

If it’s only in IE, you need to turn of the “Show Friendly HTTP Error Messages” option under the Advanced Options. IE “does you the favor” of showing some unintelligable message that it considers a friendly message instead of showing you the HTTP 404 error.
