Return Receipt generated

i have an incident wherein a user got a return receipt from a previous email from the administrator and not from the recipient. I checked the logs but no one was in the office at the time the return receipt was generated. The only thing that was running at that time was the remote console that the admin forgot to disconnect. Is there another reason for this thing to happen other than the usual way of the admin opening the mail itself?

Subject: RR

Someone needs to physically open the document for the Return Receipt to be generated. Take a look at the user detail section in the database properties of the database from which the mail RR was generated. You should be able to see who was in the mailfile on that day to check if the user was in the mailfile. Also take a look at the ACL to see if the default access is set to allow user’s access to the mailfile.
