Return Receipt - External mail

when i send e-mails to internet the server will respond "Your message was successfully relayed by xxxxx.xxxxx.xx at 25/10/2004 12:00:02 to the remote mail system xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Outbound support for confirmations is not configured, though the configuration settings for return receipt is set to Enable. Our SMTP Server goes through the MCAfee Web Shield 4.5.

Can anyone help please.

Subject: Return Receipt - External mail

I’m sorry that I have to ask, but your Messaging Configuration Document DOES allow Return Receipts? If so, and you are not getting them, that probably means that the receiving server does not allow them to go back to you.
