Hi, Is it possible to move to the next document in a view from $$Return field i.e, user opens a document from view and after due modification he saves the document,then a msg from $$Return field is coming.Now user wants directly to go to next document in the view.

Is it possible.Kindly help

If the view is keyed, then you could use a webquerysave agent -

get a viewentry using notesview.getentrybykey (using the appropriate part of the current doc as the key)

Then use view.getnextentry with the viewentry you just retrieved.

Then you can print out something like this:

Print “[http://servername/db.nsf/viewname/” & viewentry.universalid & “]”

For a SMALL unkeyed view, you could just loop through the view entries comparing the UNID to the current UNID, then return the next one. That would be fairly quick, although someone may know a better way.
