Restrict the ability to create databases on server

Hi

Wanting to know if there is a way we can restrict users from creating document databases etc on the server. Any Suggestions?

go to names.nsf and open server document. and then go to “Security” tab. there is a field where you can restrict who can create database/template.

is it possible to restrict the ability for users to create databases intoa specific folder?

As mentioned use the server document to limit who can create new and who can create replicas on the server. Best practices dictate that you create a group first, populate the group and then use this group in the server security to limit the number of entiries in the server document field.
