Subject: Restrict copy & paste in text field

Hi,

Put the Following code in the keyDown() event of the Text field

var pressedKey = String.fromCharCode(event.keyCode).toLowerCase();

if (event.ctrlKey && (pressedKey == “c” ||

                    pressedKey == "v")) {

// disable key press porcessing

event.returnValue = false;

}

Also you have to disable right click to restrict the user to paste with Mouse.

Let me know if any issues

Thanks

Hi Kamal,How are you? Below is the answer to your question.

In the Field Properties of the Field being pasted in, goto the HTML Tab.In the Others put in the code

body onpaste=“return false” onselectstart=“return false”

This will prevent Pasting.

For preventing Copying use the below code in the same place of the field being copied from.

body ondragstart=“return false” onselectstart=“return false”

Let me know if it worked.
