Restriciting Web Access on Weekends

On weekends bulk updates occur to our Lotus databases. Some of these are done on other replicas that do not have admin rights to my server ( so that cannot manually switch off Http for example). It has now come to my attention that some of my http users are transacting on weekends when they should be spending time with their friends and family. These over eager people are now causing rep/save conflicts. Back in the old days when I administered a Novell network I could restrict the times users could log into the network. Is there any way of having thesame sort of restrictions in Domino to stop these web users logging in on weekends.

There’s many ways, depending on how much you want to shut down. You could for example shutdown the whole HTTP task via an scheduled agent, and restart it on Monday morning. But then no Anonymous user would get in either. You could also have an scheduled agent to rename the group which gives author access to the database, and restore it again on Monday. Or you could have the agent change the database ACL, which works better with Domino R7, since changing group names or contents are reflected only with huge delays by the HTTP task (5-10 mins).

Thanks for the suggestion. Could you give me some clues on the coding.
