Recently a user deleted a private folder from a shared mail file. However, she now needs this folder back along with its contents.
In an attempt to restore the folder, I restored the mail file from the daily backups. Since it was a private folder and unique to that user, it obviously did not show on the restore.
Does anyone know how I can restore this private folder?

You can restore the database to a domino server that does not replicate with the End User’s (EU’s) home mail server and then have the EU open up the database on that other server and use copy/paste to recover the contents of the private folder - or restore the database to a folder outside the domino server’s directory structure and use Windows Eplorer or FTP or something to copy the database to the EU’s local disk and open it there for recovery using their ID file.
