Restore of a domino server

Hello,

Our domino server’s harddisk is running out of space, hence I will have to set domino server on the new hard disk.

Will complete restore of a domino server from the last backup will work on a new harddisk?

Subject: Restore of a domino server

You do not need to restore the entire hard drive,

Copy the data directory to new hard disk

in the INI file update the Path of Data directory to the new path.

and restart the server.

But do I need to install domino as a stand alone server? Meaning,

  1. Install Domino server as a Stand Alone server

  2. rename the new path \lotus\domino\data\ to \lotus\domino\data2

Restore the data directory to \lotus\domino

  1. Keeping the file path same as C: or D:
