Restore document

Hi,I have a situation. There is a database that contains many documents. Some of those documents are sensitive therefore, the operator who operates the database (basically fill in the form and save it) use the document security tab in the document properties box to limit the readers from the documents after she created it. Now the operator has lost her ID. The documents that was set to her name by her using the security tab from the document properties box cannot appear in the all document view.

How I can restore those documents?

I tried to use Lotus script to create a author/reader field in the form, and added some name into the fields. However, when I loged in by the name added to the fields, the documents still invisible from the view.

Please help me,

Thank for your time

Make sure that you are “full access administrator” then you should be able to see the documents.

Follow these steps to become full access administrator :

  • Find out on which server the database is.

  • Open the names.nsf on this server.

  • Open the serverdocument of this server on put your name in the “full access administrator” field ( security tab ).

  • Save and close the document.

  • Open the Domino admin-client.

  • Open the server where the database is.

  • Select in the menu "Administration / “Full access administration”.

  • If you don’t have full access you will be prompted if you do have access ypu will see this in the statusbar at the bottom.

If you have full access you should be able to see her documents.

If you are prompted that you dont have full access then you have to wat a couple of minutes.
