I have a user that completely destroyed their Workspace. Deleted everything out of the Bookmark bark and somehow ended up with a blank workspace. Short of reinstalling the client is there an esay way to get it back to just the default workspace with the default links in the Bookmark Bar?

Hello,
I’m not completly sure but you can try to copy the desktop6.ndk, and the bookmark.nsf from DATA directory of another Lotus Notes client.
Also delete the cache.ndk file form damaged client.
See you …

strangely just managed to do soemthing similar myself – workspace is fine, but he bookmark bar has only the ‘history’ icon, and won’t let me drag anything else in there – any suggestions for recovering just the functionality of being able to drag stuff in there to bookmark?
thx

Exit the Notes client.Delete (or rename) the files desktop6.ndk, bookmark.nsf and cache.ndk for good measure.
Restart the Notes client.
Notes will recreate these files from their templates (with the default content).
Be sure to ask the user what they were trying to achieve, so you can hopefully provide them with a solution that doesn’t blow up Notes.
