we use some self-developed plugins with Notes 8.5. Today I deployed an update to an existing plugin. Now an user complaint, that he is not able to stop the “Restart” dialog. He has to restart or another dialog appears in 5 minutes. It would be nice if he could say “I will restart later” and no reminder pops up again.

Yes, we (not just design but even engineering) agrees that the restart dialog that lets you restart now or wait 5 minutes is not the best. We want to provide a better one that lets the user choose to just not get prompted etc. I do not know when we’ll be able to get that in.
