Response doc without Parent doc

Hi:

How can i make a view to show me the response documents without parent document or how can i know it?

A response document contains a field called $Ref that holds the UNID of the Parent. So create a view that selects the Response documents. Now you must write an agent that navigates through this view and tried to open the parent. If you can’t then the document is an orphan, Now you can delete the response document, set a field to a value to flag it as an orphan, or move the orphan to a folder.To the best of my knownledge there is no way to tell if the response is an orphan or not just by looking at the response document. Responses point to the parent but the Parent does not point to the child.

As far as I know, there is no way to directly show orphaned response-documents in a view.

You can create an agent that finds all orphans and sets a field to some value.

Then you can create a view that lists documents with that value.

hi daniel

you just make a view with selection formula is ur responce form. and in view property select second tab.in second tab just unchecked the “show responce document in hiearachy”

and you get ur desired result
