Response Doc Lotusscript help

Get this error, have not been able to track it down — Function requires a valid ADT arguement…

Running this script to create 2 response docs from data in the main doc… i get the error above… Have not been able to pin it down.

Any help appreciated for sure!!!

The view selection only has the form Contact listed… was thinking it might need the form Addresses listed too?

Can you enable the LS debugger and then pin down the line which is causing the error. This will help everyone to quickly find the issue.

Subject: RE: Response Doc Lotusscript help…

I am not adept at the debugger, but it appears that the error appears in the ErrHandle: routine…

In the Call agentLog… statement, at least that is when the

Notes error pops up in the output tab…

ErrHandle:

Print "Error" & Str(Err) & ": " & Error$

Call agentLog.LogAction("Error" & Str(Err) & ": " & Error$)

Resume NextDoc

Ofcourse, its not that place where the error is happening.

Try to do this -

  1. Click on File menu => Tools => Debug Lotus Script.

  2. Run your agent which will first launch the debug manager.

  3. Click on “Step Into”

  4. Find out the line where it is giving error.

Click on “Variables” tab to find out what’s getting into the variables.
