When a user books a room which requires an owner to process, that owner recieves the same request multiple times and sometimes even after the request has been processed and passed.
I’ve seen some other people with this problem but without a solution.
Does anyone know what is wrong here? The processor is listed specifically in the resource document.
However, this is the automated message which is sent as soon as the request is created. The is no agent or schedule for the event.
The closest problem I can find is with Nortons Anti-virus which inspects every document and re-saves (or something similar) causing multiple emails. We are not using Nortons here.
Any ideas?
If I was to book a room now, the responsible person would receive 4 emails for the request.
It is normal for a room owner to continue to receive notifications that a reservation request needs to be processed if the owner has not yet approved the request. However, if the owner continues to receive these requests after accepting/declining the reservation request there’s something wrong. Check the $NLookup hidden view and see if the request is in there. If so, deleting it should resolve the issue.
On a related note, in 8.5.2 you have the option to limit the number of notifications that the room owner receives prior to processing the reservation.
