My users are having a problem in reserving rooms in the RR database.
Even if a Room is booked in Resource Reservation, any one else is able to book the same room at the same time. When I went in to the RR database, The particular reservation is marked pending, where as the other Reservations are marked with a green color tick.
I tried creating few other reservations(not for the same room), and even those rooms are marked pending. We have been using RR for a long time without a problem and this happened suddenly.
I can see you marked it as being on 8.02 but there is lots of unknowns in play still: Please answer the following questions and we can go from there.
Does the room in question have any owner restrictions (Owner, Specific User, etc)?
Have you checked that the RnRMgr task is up and running? (Sched is only for users so is not in play here)
Are you running in a clustered configuration or not? If so, what server versions are in the mix?
If you do a “tell rnrmgr list Room X/Site A” console command (replacing your rooms full name for Room X/Site A), does the room show booked at the time in question?
Make sure the Schedule Manager and Rooms and Resources tasks are running on your server (show tasks at the console). If not, try to load task and see what the error is.
