I’ve just setup the Resource Reservation database but it simply won’t work. Here’s what I did.
Create new database → template : StdR8ResourceReservation → enabled agents → ACL is fine. → signed the db with server ID.
Created a site: TestSite, Resource reservation autoreminder: OFF
Created a Resource: available 24/7.
server console: tell sched validate.
Rooms and resources been created in NAB succesfully.
Now when I create a meeting (personal agenda or reservation db) and search for free rooms/resources by time it never find anything.
If i select the room first (which does work) and then select the time I get: An error occurred while validating the available time for this resource.
If i try a quick reservation I get: An error occurred while validating the available time for this resource.
The rooms and resources are not created in busytime.nsf, even not after updating it.
It’s pretty urgent this gets to work soon, any help would be appreciated.

Are the “Rooms and Resources” and “Schedule Manager” tasks running on the server that hosts the Reservations database?

The Sched task does nothing for the Rooms and Reservations since Domino 7. Instead of “tell Sched validate”, you would use “tell rnrmgr validate”. Any command you would have used with sched before, use ‘rnrmgr’ now. If there are users on the same server, sched will manage those.
Here is a list of commands to check the status of rooms in busytime - I’d start with the first one, then if the room isn’t there, stop and start rnrmgr. Please post your results.
Tell RnRMgr show Resource Name/Site Name -This will show the schedule as busytime knows it
Tell RnRMgr list Resource Name/Site Name - Will list when resource is available Without a room specified, it does them all
Tell RnRMgr check Resource Name/Site Name - Checks and rebuilds all entries - Without a room specified, does all
Tell RnRMgr validate Resource Name/Site Name - Validates, but does not rebuild the schedule - Without a room specified, does all
