Resource reservation database Room automatically deleted from NAB

Hello,

We have one problem with reservation database Room.

The room is automatically deleted from names.nsf database but is still available in reservation database. This has happened 3 times. For temporary solution we have deleted the room from reservation database and re created in the reservation database. But after some days the room is disappearing from names.nsf.

Any ideas?

Did you check the administration requests database for entries for this resource?

Yes.

The actual problem is, the resource is disappearing with out submitting the deletion request from the reservation problem. For this problem we deleted resource from the reservation database and re created the resource in reservation database. After re creating the resource, users are able to book this resource from calendar.

But after some days this resource is not available from calendar to book the reservation and it is still available in reservation database. We found that this resource is missing in the names.nsf view.

When you delete the room from the resource db, it creates an admin request and is deleted in the NAB later, so if you did that and didn’t wait for it to get deleted from the NAB (or manually forced the admin request through) before you recreated it in the resource database, then it’s possible that the admin request deleted the new resource in the NAB too (since it was still pending deletion). I remember having a similar issue before, and the only way we could finally get it done, was to delete the resource properly from the resource database, and then manually delete it from the NAB too and making sure there was no pending admin request. Only then could we recreate the room properly.

With out deleting and re creating the room in the reservation database, if we manually create the room (which is already in reservation database) in Domino directory (NAB) could solve this problem?
