Resouce still available when disable reservations selected

We have a reservation database in which one of the room resources we have selected disable reservations.

But when we create a new reservation and click on the search the room still comes up in the list of available rooms.

When we select the room and try save it gives us an error “Error accessing product object method.” which we assume we are getting because we have selected disable reservations for that room resource.

Why would the room still be appearing in the list of available rooms if we have selected disable reservations in the room resource?

Any ideas will be appretiated.

I just did a couple of tests and if I create the room, set it to disable reservations and save and close, it doesn’t appear in the available rooms list.

I changed the disable reservations option, saved and closed and I could see it.

I disabled it again, saved and closed and I can still see it in the available rooms list.

I’m using 6.5.2. See if the same happens to you if you create the room and disable it from scratch.

Thank you for your response.

What was happening is there were 2 entries for the room(one without a space in the name) in the address book.

So we removed the entry that wasn’t matching the one in the reservation database and viola its working properly now.

What was happening is the disabled reservation wasn’t popping up in the availible rooms list… the additional room in the address book was.
