Subject: Reset bookmarks
Hi,
If you want to delete all your bookmarks and go back to scratch…
First exit notes. Then, in the notes data dir, rename bookmark.nsf to bookmark_old.nsf and then start the notes client again. Your new bookmarks db will be created at notes launch.
Note that in ND8, any icons on the workspace will automatically be migrated to bookmarks when you first launch notes. So, if you also want to take the workspace back to scratch then you can do this by renaming desktop*.ndk to desktop*.old. Notes will create a new desktop file on next launch.
Hope that answers your question,
Michael
Subject: File does not exist
Hi,
I did rename the file and restarted Notes; all I had was a dialog on Notes start up telling me “Bookmark file does not exist”, if I do click on “OK” Notes closes…
Subject: Make sure the template bookmark.ntf exists and is in the Data directory.
Subject: Dual workspace tabs
As a result of that problem, I’m getting a dual workspace tab.
(workspace is set to be my homepage on Notes).
If I do ever click on the second one (the one I can close) it takes me to the first one.
It appears every time I start Notes (even if I do close it and set Notes to remember its last state).
Subject: It isn’t
Hi,
The template isn’t there, how can I solve this issue please?
Subject: Quick Answer
Find it on another client and copy and paste it over.
Subject: Domino
I finally took the templates from Domino, everything’s okay now
Subject: The only other client is Mac based
Can I find it away from another client? For instance a Domino server?
Subject: Solved
Did copy Domino server’s templates, deleted the old bookmark.nsf, restarted the client: problem solved.
Thanks
