Reproducing the To: Functionality from an INOTES Memo

I want to reproduce the INOTES “To” functionality for a Message on the web. Basically, I want the option like the Notes client version, where the user can choose a name from any of the nabs in our directory. I realize iNotes is an applet and I know java pretty well. However, like everyone else, I hate to reinvent the wheel. Is that code posted anywhere, or anything similar?
