Is the id file maybe read-only and cannot be updated. Check the file attributes.

We had a similar issue with someone who was using both R5 and R6 clients with the same ID file.
Shortly after changing the password, this error message began.
We eventually recreated the ID and made a copy for the R5 client use only.

Did that - it wasn’t. And if it was (which I have had happen before) it would say the file is read only and cannot be written to. Thanks tho.
