REPOST: SSL Handshake Errors After Upgrade

We recently upgraded a client’s server from Domino 5.0.11 to Domino 6.0.1. After the upgrade we started seeing these messages in the log …

04/24/2003 11:04:25 AM HTTP Server: SSL handshake failure, IP address [192.168.3.26], Keyring [keyfile4.kyr], [SSL Error: Network IO error], code [4165]

04/24/2003 11:04:59 AM HTTP Server: SSL handshake failure, IP address [192.168.3.26], Keyring [keyfile4.kyr], [SSL Error: Invalid SSL message], code [4166]

SSL appears to be working, but we are concerned some web users are experiencing errors. After searching the forum, we’ve tried disabling SSL V2 through the server doc but that does not seem to have helped. We found posts from people getting similar messages, but nobody has a definitive fix. Any ideas?

We also have seen this. I was told by Lotus support that nothing has changed accept that the message is being posted to the console and used to be silent. I would be happy with an ability to set the logging to some level where I just don’t see the messages any longer.

Thanks, Chris. Glad to see that we’re not alone.
