For a normal room res booking a user can book by creating a meeting in their own calendar.
For repeats, a user needs to go into the room res database and manually create a repeat booking for the room/resource they want to book. This goes for approval and when accepted, is entered into the room res calendar. They then need to separately book the meeting in their own calendar.
If they do it the other way round and book a meeting in their own calendar and select a room/resource from within the invite they’re creating, a room/resource request gets submitted but when this is approved, it doesn’t appear in the room res calendar.
Is this just the way it has to be for repeat bookings? Seems peculiar - Notes has always prided itself on the C&S functionality. There are loads of articles on C&S and Room reservations and some even have bracketed comments such as (this is not the case for repeat reservations) but no one seems to elaborate on the repeat capabilities/restritions.
