QUESTION – How can I keep the existing bookmark/desktop from version 5 when I install version 6? Keep in mind that I’m not doing an upgrade, this is a new install but with some of the “old” settings.
*******When I paste an existing bookmarks.nsf file (from version 6) into the data folder the same bookmarks are in place. However, when I place a version 5 bookmark file in the data folder, the bookmarks are NOT in place.
Please help if you can. Thanks!

I have 5.0.12 and 6.5 client. If I copy my bookmark from R5 data directory to R6 data directory the I run the R6 client it would automatically upgrade the diesign of the bookmark and hence I inherit my “old” bookmark.
Of course I rename the R6 bookmark beforehand just in case and made sure that I have bookmark.ntf on the R6 data folder.

Thanks for responding, this is working now. The bookmark.nsf file I was using to test was corrupt. Everything works fine when I used a different bookmark.nsf file.
