Repost: Business Requirement to remove ID file details on external mail

Hi all, I had posted this before with no luck. I wonder how other companies/IT department fulfill this pretty basic business requirement. According to Lotus documentation it is a pretty common acquisition scenario to create new Domains. But what if an Enterprise has like 20 brands, some of them with less than 100 users? I just cannot imagine that people are setting up seperate Domains, servers, etc. and accept all the overhead for integration of those Domains with Sametime, Blackberry etc. So please, any ideas are highly appreciated.

Hi all, we are using one Domain (=DD) and one top-level (O-level) certifier in our Enterprise. We have multiple brands which want to operate as independant units on the market. They have their own external mail domains.

Problem is that when they forward mails or reply with history to external then there is information in the mail which reveals that their ID files are linked to the Enterprise.

Is there any way of removing the domain information (@xyz) as well as the full certifiers (/xzy/…) from the mails going out?

Subject: Hmmm

Tough one. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is to modify the formulas on the fields in the memo form that reference the domain and organization information. I always approach modifying the mail template with caution but if you understand how it works then you might have success. If you take that route make sure you understand what the design task does and when it may be set to run. Good luck…
