Reporting Tools for Log.nsf

Hello! Can anyone recommend a product that can produce a report for log.nsf?

I would like very much to have a summary report on the server’s log. Like how many mails are received in any given day, how many of it is spam (I have enable blacklisting), from what site was it blacklisted… It would be great if it can produce graphical reports.

Hi SarahMany of the types of info you require are available from statrep.nsf, events4.nsf and similar databases and templates that are bundled with Domino as standard.

Additionally, you can design/customise your own monitoring tool from the Admin client of D6 - I’ve found this to be pretty good for specific requirements. You will find there is a simplistic kind of a graphical representation of some of the events you may want to monitor.

NetIQ’s “AppManager” provides the kind of info you are after. There are a few other suppliers which I am sure other colleagues will tell you about.

Check out www.helpsoft.com for their Power Tools software. It has a Log Scanner utility that reports on events in the log.nsf.

Also, the other utilities are very useful for admnistration.
