I am having an SMTP issue with a single domain.
When I receive an email from a certain external client, my server log shows the connecting server as mail.domain.com When I reply to the user at username@domain.com, the server attempts to connect to domain.com instead of mail.domain.com and fails every time.
The client claims nobody else is having issues sending him email, at least that he knows of.
I can add a bogus host entry for domain.com to point to mail.domain.com, but I would first like to know if anyone has a better solution.
