Replication Traffic Encryption - any issues?

Hi , if i enable the encryption of notes traffic via the tcp port option on either the server or the client is there anything to be aware of or anything else to configure …want to ensure all replication data between servers and between servers and remote clients is encrypted

Just check the “encrypt network data” on your port for the client. The server will automatically start encrypting the traffic.

If you turn it on at the server, all clients communicating with that server will encrypt. This is generally a pretty good idea.

You can access a server’s port settings from the admin client. Go to the server tab, and from the tools on the right, select port setup. Check the box for encrypt traffic for the protocol(s) you are using.
