I’m trying to setup two replica databases in such a way that agents will only run on one of the replicas.
I have two replica dbs for which I’ve modified the replication settings under the Advanced replication options. In the section labeled ‘Receive these elements from other replicas’ I’ve unchecked the Agents checkbox.
However, when I disable the agents in one, they are disabled in the other. Any thoughts?
Subject: Solved the issue
I’ve resolved the issue. It turns out the replicas are running on a cluster using the cluster replicator, which will not honor those settings under the Advanced replication options.
